Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"As a lone London wanderer I had observed this charming restaurant and its cheerful pop of colours and imaginative decor marked it down on my wishlist. I was not disappointed when I was looking for a cosy, delicious dinner. The food was sumptuous and the atmosphere so warm it didn’t matter I was solo dining. Waiting staff were friendly and generous. Can't wait to take my family. Thank you!"
"A wonderful Sicilian restaurant that had a cheerful interior and a traditional menu. My girlfriend and I had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the beginning, the staff were incredibly friendly and cheerful which gave us a nice impression straight away. The interior is lovely and bright which added to the vibe of the restaurant. They had a number of menu items that were uniquely Sicilian - my girlfriend tried one of them, the 'Pane Cunzato', assumedly their signature dish, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I craved pizza so went for a pizza, which was equally delicious. They had a number of lovely dessert items, and whilst torn, we ended up opting for the Pistachio Tiramisu which is their signature dessert. It certainly didn't disappoint, and was the best Tiramisu either of us have eaten. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the location, so I would definitely recommend giving it a go! P.s the bill came out in a cute little case, so bonus points for that."
"Good food, good service. Very kind people, very good carbonara! . We tried more dishes and all of them were delicious ! I’ll put some nice pictures of this traditional Sicilian restaurant! .. see you soon! and Always Sicily in the heart"
"We had lunch here before visiting the British Museum. It’s conveniently located on Museum Street, just across from the entrance. The restaurant is fairly small but has a lot of character. The outdoor seating looked lovely but it was a bit too cold to sit outside during our visit. We ordered a Margherita pizza, spaghetti carbonara, orange juice, and beer. The pizza tasted a little plain to me, it would’ve been nicer with more basil. The orange juice also didn’t taste fresh, it seemed more like a packaged, preservative kind. Overall, it was a good experience. It’s not the best Italian restaurant we’ve tried, but given the location, it’s worth checking out. The staff were attentive."
"Had a wonderful meal here with a group of work colleagues. Really cute place with personal service. Food was delicious and wonderful value with 30% off. Will be my new go to Italian when in town."
"This authentic italian place is definitely a place to go back. I went with a couple of friends and it was such a gastronomical experience. The staff was careful with our food allergies and their recommendations were something to take into consideration. We ordered the parmigiana di melanzane, the gluten free quattro stagioni and the special pizza of the day (an aubergine and burrata calzone that was truly to die for). We were 3, ended up full and we paid around 70£ (drinks included). If you're around London and you're looking for something out of the ordinary, Pane Cunzato offers quality, carefully chosen ingredients and genuine italian food. Can't wait to be back soon!"
"One of the best Italian spots in London. Truly authentic and bursting with flavor. The staff are amazing, and Renato, the owner, went above and beyond by treating us to desserts on the house an outstanding pistachio tiramisu."
"Authentic Sicilian Dinner Alert! Last night we had an unforgettable dining experience @panecunzatolondon. This gem is a rare find for anyone craving genuine Sicilian flavors in the city. The ambiance is cozy and charming, making it the perfect spot for a delightful night out. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, adding a warm touch to our evening. If you’re planning a special night out or just want to indulge in some fantastic food, this place should be at the top of your list! *Starters: We began our meal with Parmigiana di Melanzane and Filled Courgette Flowers – both dishes were phenomenal! The flavors were rich and authentic, transporting us straight to Sicily. *Pasta: Moving on to the main course, every pasta dish we tried was to die for, but the Pesto e Mandorle truly stole the show. The combination of fresh pesto and almonds was simply exquisite. *Pizza: For pizza lovers, the Calzone is a must-try. It was perfectly cooked, with a delicious filling that left us wanting more. *Dessert: No meal is complete without dessert, and Pane Cunzato did not disappoint. We indulged in Sicilian Cannolo and Pistachio Tiramisu – both were heavenly and the perfect end to our meal. Conveniently located just a stone’s throw from the British Museum, Pane Cunzato offers sublime Aeolian and Sicilian dishes that stand out in London’s diverse culinary scene. The service is fast, excellent, and of top quality, ensuring a memorable dining experience."
